I began a deep inquiry into my culture - what is it really?  It rapidly became much more than the story of my Italian heritage and modern day America.  I widened the exploration of my culture to include the greater story of humanity, which in turn is the story of the planet, the sun and the entire living universe.  In this way, my culture opens to a limitless continuum of possibilities and interconnections.

To explore the greater story of humanity, I like going back to a time when we lived indigenous lifestyles and our awareness integrated more of an animistic, instinctive, and intuitive way of knowing.  This awareness extended to the spirit world or the unseen world – a world that directly manifested into the external world of daily life.  As indigenous cultures gave way to modern cultures, enchantment started to leave "reality" and a profound schism began to divide the psyche of humankind.  Eventually, objective perception, which found "fact" in modern science, became separated from subjective perception, which found "faith" in modern religion. 

Through my dreams and the wonderful encounters that have blessed my life, the magic that I felt as a young boy has grown in me.  I have come to understand that within myself and within each of us lives the ultimate scientific instrument for knowing and creating the enchanted reality that we innately yearn for.  I seek the courage to wield this power and to truly live my dreams, while I encourage others to do the same.
